LMSUKmedia a music events & promotion business has two job opportunities available. We are looking to expand our team with a music journalist and videographer who can edit interviews. These roles would be volunteered during a trial period which would then be turned into a paid role if we are satisfied with the job.
LMS started out as a blog back in March 2o16. We felt as if no else was helping out talent, upcoming artists or providing the exposure necessary to encourage the public to listen to them.
As all young adults, we wanted to earn a living doing what we love and that involved being a part of the music industry. We recruited an entire team, each member bringing a different skill-set and all sharing the same aspiration of making LMS a household name across the UK.
Our first real venture was with LMS Promotions. We recruited graphic designers, journalists, photographers and begun by offering promotional services at reasonable price. After gaining a significant social following, we started to put on our own music events including live sessions and gigs. It wasn’t long before we were achieving success across all fields and were meeting and interviewing bands who had great talent! After a long discussion, LMS decided to offer ‘The full package’ – every aspect of the music industry organised by one organisation. LMS Records produces the music and distributes it, whilst our promotional team spreads the word far and wide.
This is just the start for LMS. In the past year we’ve had the pleasure of meeting music legends such as Alex Turner and Van McCann, as well as interviewing Blossoms, Little Comets, The Hunna, The Amazons and Craig David!
The LMS team have a real passion to give talented artists the kick-start they need in their music careers whilst keeping it affordable. We will always keep the core values of Local Music Scene the same but will continue our desire to push the boundaries within in the music industry.

Part-Time Matchday Reporters
Sports Mole is looking for new part-time reporters to work on busy matchdays during the second half of the 2017-18 season.
The Position: Part-time news reporters are home-based and paid at a rate of £7.50 per hour on a self-employed basis. Reporters must be able to cover a variety of sports. Availability during busy matchday afternoons on either Saturday or Sunday is a pre-requisite for any application.The
Successful applicants will have:
- The ability to write quickly and accurately in accordance with the house style.
- Strong self-subediting skills.
- An interest in sport in general and be comfortable writing about football, cricket, rugby union and tennis, as well as other sports where relevant. Interests in areas outside of the aforementioned – such as US-based sports and boxing – should be specifically noted in your covering letter.
- A fast and reliable home internet connection and access to an alternative connection in the event of the former being unavailable.
- The ability to source and select news suitable for coverage on the site. Access to sports channels, in particular Sky Sports News, is essential.

Professional photographer needed
We need several pictures of 12 individuals (head & shoulders and full height) and others of teams, office scenes etc
We are building a new website, we would also need photos to use in press releases and social media profiles.
We have different sites which you will have to travel to these, headquarters is in Sarisbury Green, another office is in Leeds, expenses for this will be paid.

Freelance Curator for Schools Exhibition
The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre is a small place where big things happen. Our vibrant cultural events and activities help make Havant, Hampshire and the surrounding region a better place to live.
We are one of the few integrated arts and heritage centres in the UK and use this position to create innovative programmes to inspire and engage the 120,000 residents of Havant Borough and beyond.

Freelance Job Opportunity
We are looking for a freelance curator to help lead on the creation of an exhibition of work by local school pupils. The exhibition is intended to:
- Celebrate the visual art work of pupils from 8 local schools
- Foster and inspire a sense of pride by giving young people the opportunity to display their work at a professional arts venue
- Encourage visits from a new audience of young people and their family and friends to The Spring
The exhibition is titled Bright Young Minds – Central Havant Schools Showcase and is part of a collaborative partnership between the Spring and the Warblington Partnership Board, a multi-agency network of schools and community organisations that aims to support children, young people and their families in central Havant. The exhibition will feature work from pupils at Infant, Primary and Secondary level, in a mixed range of mediums.
The fixed fee, including all expenses, is £750.
A materials budget of £250 will be managed by The Spring.
- To meet with the Creative Producer to plan the exhibition and discuss concept ideas
- To collect artwork from The Spring and frame or develop a way of presenting work that will celebrate and show the work to best effect
- To work with the Creative Producer to write and create signage, labels and interpretation to best accompany the exhibition
- To manage the installation and take down of the exhibition (please note, only limited technical support may be provided)
- To undertake administration to ensure the effective curation of the exhibition
- To work with the Creative Producer to ensure that the exhibition fits with The Spring’s brand and realises the vision for the work
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience of exhibition curation including the development of interpretation materials
- Experience of exhibition installation
- A creative approach and good attention to detail
- Highly organised and an ability to work to deadlines and under own initiative
