The University of Portsmouth Project Exchange is provided by the University’s Department of Employability (nest team). nest makes every effort to ensure the organisations and projects listed on our website, emails, and publications are legitimate and offer good quality opportunities to students and graduates. However, we are unable to verify details of each organisation or project and cannot guarantee accuracy. We strongly recommend you check opportunities fully before and during the application and appointment process in all cases.

Students and graduates applying to projects posted do so at their own risk and nest accepts no liability for loss, damage or delay whatsoever arising from use of the Project Exchange.

You may be required by the client to enter into a contract for the project.  It is important that you carefully read all terms and conditions and are clear what your rights and obligations are.  You should seek legal advice where appropriate.

By posting a brief on the Project Exchange, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions of Use.

nest reserves the right to remove any projects where it can be demonstrated that the organisation involved is in contravention of UK law. Additionally nest reserves the right to refuse to advertise any project that is not in the best interest of our students and graduates.

The University of Portsmouth accepts no liability in relation to the introduction and subsequent selection of candidates for a project via the nest Project Exchange. The University shall bear no liability for loss, damage or delay whatsoever arising in the performance of these services and in particular caused by circumstances beyond its control (of whatsoever kind).

The client shall independently satisfy themselves as to the suitability of any candidate they choose for their listed project.

Client contracts are between the student or graduate and the project owner. It is the duty of the project owner to comply with all legal obligations with regard to the employment of students and graduates.
